⚠️ IMPORTANT: By downloading, installing, or using Quote Next, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Acceptance Of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Quote Next mobile application ("App"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "You") and Quote Next ("We", "Us", or "Our").

2. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

Download and install the App on your personal mobile device
Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
View, read, and share quotes from within the App
Create and save custom quotes using the My Quotes feature
Use the AI Quote Generator feature within allowed daily limits
Receive optional daily Quote of the Day reminders and notifications (if enabled)
Add the optional home screen widget to view quotes on your device

2.1 License Restrictions:

❌ You may NOT modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App

❌ You may NOT redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App

❌ You may NOT use the App for commercial purposes without permission

❌ You may NOT remove copyright notices or proprietary markings

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Acceptable Use:

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

Use the App in any way that violates local, national, or international laws
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Use automated systems (bots, scripts) to access the App
Collect or harvest any data from the App without permission

4. Content Ownership

4.1 Our Content:

Quotes are aggregated from publicly available sources, including famous quotes, historical texts, and viral content from the internet
We do not claim original authorship of the quotes; they belong to their respective authors/sources
The app's design, compilation, database structure, and features are owned by Quote Next
Content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
You may share quotes using the app's built-in sharing features for personal, non-commercial use
Sharing to third-party apps (e.g. WhatsApp, Instagram) is at your discretion and subject to those platforms' terms
Mass scraping, downloading, or commercial redistribution of content is prohibited

4.3 AI-Generated Quotes:

\u2022 Quotes generated by the AI feature are produced by third-party AI language model providers

AI-generated content may not always be accurate, original, or attributed correctly
Quote Next does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or uniqueness of AI-generated quotes
You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated quotes before sharing or publishing them
Saved AI quotes are stored locally on your device and are your responsibility

4.2 User-Generated Content:

Images you upload for quote creation remain your property
We do not claim ownership of your uploaded photos
Images are processed locally and not stored on our servers
You are responsible for having rights to any images you upload
Custom quotes you create (My Quotes feature) are stored locally on your device
You retain all rights to your custom quotes and can delete them anytime
Greeting cards you create, including any name you add, remain yours to use and share

5. Advertising And AI Services

Quote Next is a free app supported by advertisements:

Ads are provided by Google AdMob and other partners
We do not control or endorse advertised products/services
Clicking ads is at your own risk
Ad frequency may vary based on usage patterns
You can opt-out of personalized ads in device settings

5.1 AI Quote Generation:

AI Quote Generation is FREE, with a limited number of generations each day (currently 3)
Watch an optional reward ad to unlock additional generations (currently 3 more per ad, up to 4 ads a day)
Daily limits may change at our discretion
The AI feature requires an internet connection
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the AI feature at any time

5.2 Daily Quote & Notifications:

Quote of the Day is selected automatically from our quote library in your selected language
Daily reminders (morning and Good Night) are optional, and each can be turned off or retimed in Settings
Push notifications may include admin updates when enabled by you

5.3 Home Screen Widget:

The optional widget displays quotes from the app on your device home screen
Widget content updates locally; no account is required

5.4 Greeting Cards (Good Morning, Good Night, Festivals):

Greeting images are created on your device from quotes in our library
Any name or occasion wording you add is stored only on your device and appears on the images you create
You are responsible for what you write and for where you share the images
Shared images carry the Quote Next name and Play Store link
Festival names and dates are provided for convenience and may not match every region or calendar

6. Prohibited Activities

🚫 You are strictly prohibited from:

Creating fake accounts or impersonating others
Attempting to hack, exploit, or damage the App
Using the App to spam, phish, or distribute malware
Copying our quotes database for competing apps
Removing or altering advertisements
Using VPNs or proxies to manipulate ad delivery
Fraudulent activity including click fraud on ads

Violation may result in immediate termination and legal action.

7. Disclaimers

7.1 "AS IS" Basis:

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, including but not limited to:

Warranties of merchantability or fitness for particular purpose
Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Freedom from viruses or harmful components

7.2 Content Disclaimer:

Quotes are for inspirational and entertainment purposes only
We do not guarantee accuracy of attributions
Content should not be considered professional advice
We are not responsible for how you interpret or apply quotes

8. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quote Next shall NOT be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
Service interruptions or data loss
Actions taken based on quotes or content
Third-party advertisements or linked websites
Unauthorized access to your device or data

Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the App in the last 12 months.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Quote Next and its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your violation of these Terms
Your misuse of the App
Your violation of any third-party rights
Content you create or share through the App
Any false or misleading information you provide

10. Termination

10.1 By You:

Uninstall the App anytime
All local data (including My Quotes) will be deleted

10.2 By Us:

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

You violate these Terms
You engage in prohibited activities
Required by law or regulatory authorities
We discontinue the App (with notice)

11. Updates And Changes

11.1 App Updates:

We may release updates to improve functionality
Updates may be automatic or require manual installation
Some features may require the latest version

11.2 Terms Changes:

We may modify these Terms at any time
Changes effective immediately upon posting
Continued use constitutes acceptance
Material changes will be notified via app update

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid:

That provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary
The remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect
The invalid provision will be replaced with a valid one that achieves the same purpose

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Quote Next regarding the App, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral. No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
